Georgetown County has several reported swine flu cases and two people are currently in a hospital intensive care unite as a result.|

Don't you people read the paper!!! The county has far more important business at hand than the swine flu. They have to run the bikers out of town before the fall rally gets here. That way the unemployment rate can continue to increase and Myrtle Beach won't look so stupid for running them out of their town. Posted by H.D.RIDER on 8/31/2009 |

There are more cases in community than public is aware of. A Georgetown teacher had the swine flu and was quarentined a couple of weeks because the teacher just returned to school late last week. Shouldn't parents be made aware and why arent they? Posted by amazed on 8/31/2009 |

Well they have been in there for a couple of weeks now. If they are not the same two, then that means there has been four. And why didn't they tell anyone about the first two? Bottom line is the community is not being kept up to date on the swine flu problem. When the lady from the hospital said that the Georgetown hospitals did not have any cases it was already reported on the DHEC website that Georgetown county already had four cases and they had two people in Georgetown ICU with the swine flu at that time. Family members talk when you sit in the ICU waiting room all day and night. Posted by on 8/31/2009 |

How do you know they are the same two? Posted by on 8/31/2009 |

This is old news. Wonder why it took so long for them to let our community know it was a problem? They have been in ICU for a while! Posted by on 8/31/2009 |
