I hope and pray that the mill we be kept open for the sake of all the workers and their families. I helped restart the mill back in 2004 and returned back to KY a few months later. Some the hardest working and most dedicated folks I have ever worked with worked at that plant. Getting rid of the plant for some tourist business will not even come close to replacing the revenue stream from the mill. There are many other businesses that will also be affected. By doing some cleanup and painting the mill could be dressed up greatly. I think the company is probably just trying to get what they can from the workers while they have the excuse of the economy. Look at the markets and read the reports. Steel is on the way back up! Posted by Dennis from Kentucky on 7/9/2009 |

Steel Worker N Andrews, I live my life for myself, not my father. This proves you know hardly anything about me. Posted by Jamie Sanderson on 7/2/2009 |

I read something on another board that made a lot of sense. James needs to separate his personal feelings from his duties as union president. Being able to do that is a sign of a good leader. When he acts like a child when performing his union duties, it makes the whole union look bad. As for his son, I have no clue what you people are talking about. I have not seen him acting like his father acts. He seems to be more well-rounded. Posted by on 7/2/2009 |

The truth shall set you free, guess two Sanderson's will never be free. Like father like son. We never see the other son on here so guess he is talking about you.I guess the reason you want answer Georgetown times questions is that they will show everyone the person you two are. I know you lied to me on more than on time. Like when you came to me when I worked at WSI and told me that if I talked to everyone there to try and get them to join your union that you would get me a job there at Georgetown Steel Inc. guess what ? A lie!!!!!!! Need I give more lies that you have told. And to the son, every time that you open your mouth you just hurt your dad that much more like he needs help. I guess retired steelworker is mentioning me. He does have another son. If I am the one you are referring to, you hardly know me. Posted by Jamie Sanderson on 7/1/2009 |

MR. Steelworker N Andrews, There is a simple answer to why Sanderson will not answer questions from the Georgetown Times, Scott Harper. Scott knows when James opens his mouth a lie comes out of it. Scott has covered him for a many of years and he has learned Sanderson will speak out of both sides of his mouth and then insert his foot in it. As far as the son, same person different body. Good luck to all my fellow workers. Posted by Retired Steel Worker 2003 on 7/1/2009 |

Mr. Sanderson why will you not answer any questions from the Georgetown times. They do nothing but tell the truth as they see it. So if you wan't it out there tell it unless you have something to hide. We are tired of all the lies that you have put out there all of these long years. And as for your son that is all ways running his mouth about things that he should not. He was not elected union president, you where so start acting like a president or let someone else in there that can do the job. I cant believe you ran for public office and you cant even do your job with the union. Posted by Steel Worker N Andrews on 7/1/2009 |
