Members of the team are Cea Knox, Joanna Powell, Mary Ellen Morris, Ashley Czechner, Caroline Avant, Whitney Baxley, Jamie Johnson, Katie Lunsford, Megan West, Jennifer Coker, Megan Strickland and Taylor Poston.

Donations should be made out to Georgetown County Dixie Debs/East Bay Booster Club.

12-and Under stars

The Georgetown All-Star 12 and Under girls are seeking financial assistance to travel to Sumter for the state championship tournament beginning July 11.

Team supporters and members are soliciting donations to help defray the costs of travel. A story in Wednesday's Times was in error when it said the Georgetown County Recreation Department was assisting the team with fund-raising. Softball and baseball is run through county booster clubs.

The team has an account at Bank of America in Georgetown.

Members of the team include Julie Dawson, Jackie Gray, Crystyn Neely, Alyssa Kozma, Kelsey Fulton, Blakeley Graham, Carson Dawson, Andee Pope, Kari Oliver, Bailey Sanders, Taylor Mercer, Katie Glenn and coaches Timmy Howard, Walt Fulton and Danny Mercer.
