Here is who has filed so far for the office of Georgetown mayor and the three expiring Georgetown City Council seats:
• Mayor Jack Scoville, a Democrat, has filed for a second term.
• Incumbent Democrat Brendon Barber has filed for reelection.
• Incumbent Paige Sawyer has filed as a Republican to run again for his council seat.
• Rudolph Bradley, who hold a council seat that does not expire this year, has filed to run for mayor as a Democrat.
• Newcomer Hobson Henry Milton has filed as a Democrat for a council seat.
Filing continues through noon March 28.

The National Transportation Safety Board is recommending lowering the legal blood alcohol content limit for drivers from .08 percent to .05 percent. They say it will decrease the number of traffic fatalities. Do you agree with this idea?
