Pawleys Island, S.C. — People lined Kings River Road last Friday for Waccamaw High School’s Homecoming Parade.
The parade went from All Saints Church to the high school in Pawleys Island.
Winners of the parade were Juniors in the “Class” category; varsity cheerleaders and varsity girls’ tennis team for “Classic Looking Floats;” and Waccamaw Intermediate School for “Best Community Float.”
The week concluded with a football game against Aynor and a sock hop.

The National Transportation Safety Board is recommending lowering the legal blood alcohol content limit for drivers from .08 percent to .05 percent. They say it will decrease the number of traffic fatalities. Do you agree with this idea?
