Former Georgetown City Administrator Steve Thomas has a new job.
Thomas, who resigned as Georgetown’s administrator in October, has been hired as North Myrtle Beach assistant administrator, according to a press release. He replaces Joel Davis, who resigned last year.
Thomas’ duties will include the supervision of Human Resources and Support Services among other tasks.
In August, Georgetown City Council gave Thomas a letter saying he would be fired if he did not resign. One of the biggest issues was Thomas’ unwillingness to move to Georgetown from Conway, although his work agreement said the relocation was a requirement.
