The Beach United Football Club Crush '99, girls U-12 team, which includes six players from Waccamaw Intermediate School, recently won a state championship at the South Carloina Youth Palmetto Academy Cup in Sumter.
The team did not give up a goal during cup play, and beat Easley 5-0 for the title.
The Beach United Football Club is holding tryouts for boys and girls ages 9-18 for next season.
