The following reports were collected  from local law enforcement offices:

Attacked at a party
An 18-year-old man was at a birthday party at the Choppee Health Complex Saturday night when he got jumped by a group of guys he goes to school with at Carvers Bay High.
He said  the argument started over a stolen vehicle but the man who allegedly took it was not even at the party.
The victim said he escaped with only minor injuries.

Disrespectful kids
A woman from Carnell Loop in Georgetown said she was  sitting on her front porch Sunday afternoon when a group of kids from the neighborhood walked by.
One of them stuck his middle finger up at the woman and another pumped a BB gun in an effort to intimidate her, the woman said.
The woman said this is an ongoing situation and she feels their parents condone what they do.
The parents of the children were informed by a deputy the youngsters were on a “trespass notice” meaning they cannot go on the woman’s property.

Purse snatching
A man who tried to snatch the purse belonging to a woman at Sarah’s Nightlife in Andrews Nov. 6 was found hiding under a shed across the street from the business.
The owner of the shed detained  the 33-year-old suspect until deputies arrived.
A deputy tried  to talk to the suspect about the accusations but “he was intoxicated to the point he could not clearly speak,” the report states.
According to witnesses, the man tried unsuccessfully to open the cash register in the nightclub and then grabbed the woman’s purse.
She chased him outside and saw her purse on the ground next to him. He walked across the street and stayed there until he was spotted by the shed owner.
He was arrested for purse snatching. While en route to the jail, the man told the deputy he did not take the woman’s purse.
He said everyone was  lying and then he passed out in the back of the patrol car.
Once he was at the jail, he changed his story. He admitted taking the purse but said he was just “playing around.”
He said he and the victim “play around like that.”

Locked out
A 70-year-old Pawleys Island woman called 911 Nov. 5 after her son-in-law locked her out of her house.
She said the man had been drinking and he unlocked the door once and she said she was calling the police.
The man denied locking his mother-in-law out the house but agreed to go stay at his mother’s house to avoid any additional trouble.

Threats made
A 59-year-old Murrells Inlet woman said she has been receiving calls and visits from a 36-year-old man she knows who has been asking for money to support his drug habit.
She said she gave him $40 and a bottle of wine and then told him to never step foot on her property again.
He continued to call. During one of the calls he reportedly told the woman if she didn’t give him more money “she wouldn’t like what’s going to happen,” the report states.

Woman fondled
A Brick Chimney Road woman said she was in her garage Oct. 25 when her neighbor walked in and grabbed her on the rear.
He reportedly said “a woman like yourself shouldn’t be without a man.”
The woman said she ran into her house and locked the doors until the man left.
The woman did not report the incident for several days because she was confused about what to do, the report states.

Ok this story is bull. First of all people in a neighborhood should get along and kis are going to be kids. The parents are not necessarily condoning this behavior just because the woman in question said so.I don't think that she knows what goes on in the neighbors home so maybe she should mind her own business from time to time. Also, I wish someone would explain to me what kids know about trespassing anyway. They are KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!Good Lord get a life woman....and leave the neigbors Alone!!!!
