A 28-year-old Pawleys Island woman got into an argument with her 27-year-old boyfriend Aug. 15 after he grabbed another woman's rear end.

The argument turned physical and the man reportedly pushed her, causing her to fall into a dresser. He then picked up a knife and cut her on the lower biceps area, according to the woman.

A friend of the woman witnessed the entire incident.

The man was arrested for criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

Another theft has been reported from International Paper Co. property on Kaminski Street.

Previously, hundreds of pounds of copper wire were stolen by someone, so plant officials set up cameras in the scrapyard in case any other thefts took place.

On Monday, a company worker reported one of the cameras and about 10 more feet of copper wire were taken.

Investigators are trying to determine if these thefts are connected to the earlier cases.

* A woman from Wesley Road in Murrells Inlet returned home Monday and saw the lock had been pried off the back door.

The only thing taken was some food.

The woman said she thinks her 19-year-old son is to blame because he has done it before, although she did not report it at the time.

When deputies talked to her son, he said he could not have done it because he was out all night getting a tattoo. He said his mom was just trying to get him in trouble because they have been arguing a lot recently.

* A 48-year-old Murrells Inlet woman said her ex-husband -- who lives in Pawleys Island -- has been harassing her over the telephone.

She said on one recent call he left a message "calling her a Nazi and other bad things," the report states.

She was advised to see a magistrate.

* More than $1,300 worth of jewelry and other items were taken from a home on Ten Acre Road in Andrews. The owner said there were several people in his house on Aug. 14, the day he noticed the items were missing.

One of those people was seen trying to pawn several items at a store in Andrews a couple of days later.

* Three deer stands and a wooden stove were stolen from a hunting club off of Pennyroyal Road. Currently, there are no suspects.

* An Andrews woman called 911 because her husband was trying to kill her. The woman said they got in an argument because she took the license tag off the car he had been driving.

She said she left the house, but her husband jumped in his car and started following her down Highway 41. Allegedly the man was trying to run her off the road.

He then "stopped his car in the road sideways trying to get her to stop," the report states. "She ran off the road and went around him."

During the ordeal, the woman nearly wrecked with an 18-wheeler that was on the road.

When she got to Andrews Elementary School, her husband turned around.

A warrant was signed for the man's arrest.

* Someone stole all the beer and some coolers that were on a boat docked in the 4300 block of Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. The owner said he was out on the boat with some friends, and when they made it back to shore they had three cases of beer left. The next day the beer and coolers were gone.

Well, I'm glad someone had their priorities in order.....leaving unattended beer is alcohol abuse and the beer should be forfeited. Hmmmph word.
