Peggy T. Eaddy

Peggy T. Eaddy of Georgetown, widow of Legette Eaddy, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 2:30 p. m. in Maryville Pentecostal Church. Officiating was Rev. Tommy Cox and Rev. Luford Pope. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

She was born February 5, 1945 in Georgetown County, a daughter of the late Tom T. Thomas and the late Sarah Thomas Thomas.

Mrs. Eaddy was a retired employee with Winn-Dixie Supermarkets with 25 years of service.

She was a member of Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.

Surviving are; three sons, Jeff Eaddy and his wife Melissa, Gregg Eaddy and Kevin Eaddy all of Georgetown; one daughter, Kitty E. Howell and her husband Archie of Murrells Inlet; five grandchildren, Kayla Owens, Austin Eaddy, Jessica Eaddy, Hannah Eaddy and Bradford Howell; one brother, Steve Thomas of Andrews; four sisters, Doris Harrington, Dorothy Poston and Sarah (Toby) Newton all of Andrews and Lessie Mae McCants of Georgetown and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also survived by a very special friend, Shep Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p. m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Building Fund, 2014 Poplar Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
