Ervin McCall, 53, Georgetown
Annie Godbolt
Annie Godbolt, 91 of Pawleys Island died on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Pawleys Island, SC. Funeral services for Mrs. Godbolt will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Godbolt was born July 2, 1917 in Nixonville, SC to Mrs. Sarah Cox Bratcher and George Bratcher.
She attended Horry County Schools and attended and worked a housekeeper. She was also a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and was a member of the Zionettes.
She is survived by her children: Bobby Bratcher of Wampee, SC, Clifton Godbolt, Michael Godbolt, Curtis Godbolt and Deloris Pyatt all of Pawleys Island, SC, Jeannette Butler of Smithfield, VA, Cathy Spivey of Myrtle Beach, SC and Thelma Dixon of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren reared as her own: Theresa Pyatt of Pawleys Island, SC and Shannon Spivey of Conway, SC; her sister: Alice Sowell of Conway, SC.
Family visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church
Funeral service arrangements are entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
Robert D. Meads
Robert Daniel "Danny" Meads, 51, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday morning, June 10, 2009, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be 10 AM, Friday morning, June 12, 2009, in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation was 6-8 PM, Thursday evening, June 11, 2009, at the Andrews chapel.
Mr. Meads was born a son of Curbilee Meads and Lucille Campbell Meads on December 30, 1957, in Georgetown. He was educated at Andrews High School; the owner and operator of Danny's Welding; and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Surviving are: one brother, Joseph Lee "Joe" Meads of North Myrtle Beach; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Diane Meads Taylor.

James M. Pool
James M. Pool of Pawleys Island died Monday, June 8, 2009 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Son of the late James and Barbara Pool, he grew up in Longmeadow, MA and was a 1962 graduate of Longmeadow High School. He attended Dartmouth College and was a 1969 graduate of Boston University Law School.
He lived in WV for 22 years where he practiced as a defense attorney. Mr. Pool was a member of the WV Bar Association and retired in 2004.
He moved to Pawleys Island in 2005 where he was the president of Pawleys Island Beautification Program and a member of the Pawleys Plantation POA. He taught at Coastal Carolina University. He was an avid master gardener.
Surviving are his only daughter, Courtney Pool-Mitchell and husband Jeremy of Charleston, WV, his fianc, Rachel Sharron Held of Pawleys Island; brother, Robert C. Pool and wife Regina of West Hampton, MA; nieces, Ivy Pool of New York, NY and Lindsay Pool of Washington, DC; step daughter, Ramona Hierholzer and husband Charles and grandchildren, Mark and Stevie.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church with Rev. Frank Holsclaw officiating.

Johnny Tisdale Jr.
Mr. Johnny Tisdale Jr., 68, of Andrews, died Monday, June 8, 2009.
Funeral services for Mr. Tisdale will be held 1:00 p.m. today at Mt. Lebanon AME Church in Andrews, with Rev. Wallace J. McKnight Sr. officiating. Burial follows in the Church Cemetery, under the direction of McKnight-Fraser Funeral Homes.
Mr. Tisdale was born July 10, 1940 in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Johnny Tisdale Sr. and Maggie McKnight Tisdale. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon AME Church where he was a member of the Male Chorus. He attended Williamsburg County Schools.
Survivors include: two daughters, McKeater Samuel, Andrews, SC and Barbara Wilson, Fayetteville, NC; six sons, Levern Tisdale, Florence, SC, Ervin Tisdale, Freddie Tisdale, Johnny Lee Tisdale, Donald Tisdale, Kevin Green all of Andrews, SC; one sister, Mary Scott, Rochester, NY, four brothers, Herman Tisdale, Peyton Tisdale of Andrews, SC, Leo Tisdale of Georgia and Otto Tisdale, Troy, NY; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren

Thelma M. Williams
Thelma Moore Williams, 88, widow of Willie Williams, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in a Georgetown hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born in Hemingway, a daughter of the late Hilly Quincy and Louise Powers Moore. She was a homemaker, a member of the Center Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Hill schools.
Surviving are her children, Dorothy (William) Powell, Susie (Glenn) Poston, John Allen (Lois) Williams and Jimmy (Gwen) Williams, all of Hemingway; son-in-law, Junior Hewitt of Hemingway; brothers, Capers Moore of Smyrna, Ga., and Quincy Moore Jr. of Hemingway; sisters, Lucille Sanders of Georgetown, Edaphell McDaniel, Retta Powell and Bessie Cooper, all of Hemingway; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was predeceased by three daughters, Willie Mae Williams, Juanita Williams and Lizzie Hewitt.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 in the Williams Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
