Leroy Nesmith, age 63, of Greensboro, N.C. 

FUNERAL SERVICES


Myrna Patterson-Taylor

Mrs. Myrna Patterson-Taylor, 73, of 1621 Front Street, Georgetown, S.C. went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at resident.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Bethel AME Church in Georgetown, with Rev. Dr. Charmaine Riggin officiating.  

Burial follows in Morning Glory Cemetery under the direction of McKnight-Fraser Funeral Homes.

Mrs. Taylor, a daughter of the late Nesbitt and Emma Spain Patterson, was born January 22, 1938 in Georgetown.  

She was employed as a nurse and supervisor for 28 years.  

She was a member of Bethel AME Church where she served as a Senior Missionary, Kithcen Angel and Womens Fellowship Ministary.  

She was also a member of the Palmetto Project and received the Humantary Award in 2005.

Survivors are her daughter, Sheila Patterson-Malloy of Birmingham, Ala.; a granddaughter, Jocelyn C. Gilford of Los Angeles, Calif.; her siblings, Robert K. Patterson of Georgetown and Gearldine Burton of Atlanta, Ga.
