Crews worked hard on Friday to install the new clock at the Rice Museum. But, as of late afternoon Tuesday the clock hands were set at 12 o’clock. Rice Museum director Jim Fitch was out and not available for comment. The clock hands were halted at 4:27 p.m. since a May 2007 lightning strike. The clock and four clock faces on the tower were removed about a year ago.
