The Hank Van Vlake Memorial softball tournament was held Saturday, Oct. 17 in Andrews. The men's and women's tournament was a huge success with four women's teams and six men's teams participating.

The Middle Monsters from Pleasant Hill were undefeated and the Palmetto Girls took home the ladies' trophy after three winning games.

There was lots of food and fun for the children also.

All of the proceeds from the tournament will go to Habitat for Humanity's "Hank's House."

About $3,100 was raised in this tournament.

"Hank Van Vlake Memorial softball tournament" T-shirts are still available. They may be purchased at Irresistible Elegance in Andrews on Main Street, for $10 each.
