David Morisch works for a company that kills bugs for a living, and he works as well to help kids with cancer.

He's business development manager for Lane's Professional Pest Elimination, but he's got another passion.

"I put on a golf tourney each year for Camp Courage in Greenville, S.C., Morisch said.

"Camp Courage is a camp for kids with cancer or that is in remission. Through donations or sponsorships, this camp allows kids with their siblings or friends, to enjoy some normalcy in a camp environment. Any help through playing in the tourney or donations would be greatly appreciated."

The Grand Strand Pest Management Association presents the golf tournament to benefit cancer camps for kids in South Carolina.

It will be held at Myrtlewood Golf Club with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Lunch will be provided following play.

The entry fee is $200 per team or $50 per player. Greens fees, cart fees and beverages are included.

The format for the tournament is four-person captain's choice. Prizes will be given for closest to the pin and longest drive. Mulligans will be available.

Sponsorships are available in amounts from $100 to $600.

Contact David Morisch for more information, by phone at (843) 238-9995, ext. 214, or by e-mail at DMorischLanes@aol.com.
