Holy Convocation
Everyone is invited to our 81st Holy Convocation of the The Churches of God and True Holiness, June 23 to June 27. Our theme is “A New Beginning for Soul Winning.”
 These powerful services will be held at Bethel Apostolic Church, 1200 North Irby Street, Florence. The host pastor is Bishop James Pratt of The Church of God and True Holiness, 1185 Thorne Ave., Kingstree. New Order of Services
Pastor Richard Hampton invites you to Good Shepherd Outreach Services, 118 Commerce St., Sumter. Men’s prayer breakfast, first Saturday, 10 a.m. (unless otherwise announced) Women’s fellowship, every second Saturday, 11 a.m and worship and praise service, 5 p.m. (unless otherwise announced) Youth program and fellowship meal, third Saturday, 11 a.m. (unless otherwise announced) Worship and praise Evangelistic Outreach services, fourth Saturday, 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Couples fellowships, every fifth Saturday evening, 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Clothing Give-A-Way
The Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothing giveaway on Saturday, June 28, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Boys to Men meeting
 Williamsburg County Boys to Men Club, Inc. will meet each Tuesday evening in the Kingstree Elementary School Annex Character Academy Library on North Academy Street at 6 p.m. All concerned parents are welcome. For additional information call (843) 355-5967.

Women-n-Power Prayer
Women-n-Power Ministries Network invites you to call in on our TelePrayer and TeleWorship services. Mornings: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. for early morning prayer and 12 noon for noonday prayer. The Ark Food Pantry
The Food Pantry will be open to the public from 2:00 p.m. thru 3:00 p.m. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo I.D. card. Teachings From the Ark, located at 105 East Main Street, will be having its “Second Banquet” on June 21, 2008 at 6 p.m.

VBS
Our upcoming Vacation Bible School “Outrigger Island” will be held at Kingstree First Baptist from June 16 to June 20.  On the first night, we are asking that everyone arrive by 5:30 to register. Students and teachers will line-up and start the opening ceremony at 5:55.  Each night formally starts at 6:00 and goes until 8:30.  Vacation Bible School is open to all children ages four to sixth grade. We are also having a class for adults. Dinner will be served free of charge each night during the program.  Children will have arts and crafts, music, recreation, and Bible study. On Friday night, we have family night which includes giant slides and bouncy houses, free hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, and other games.  The whole family is invited. We will be presenting a video, which features highlights from each night. The children will also be singing the songs they have learned from that week. If anyone is interested in attending or getting more information, contact the church office at 355-3221.

Helping Hand Program
The members of the Blooming-vale Helping Hand Club and Mt. Zion AME Church family will be sponsoring a helping hand program for Mrs. Glynda Dozier on Saturday, June 14 at 7 p.m. at Mt. Zion AME Church in the Bloom-ingvale Community. The Rev. McNeal Evans is the pastor. The speaker for this occasion will be Evangelist Marva Cherry from Bibleway Temple in Lane, where the pastor is Bishop Thomas Plowden, Jr. Her extended ministry is Jesus Miracle Temple Outreach Mission. Mrs. Dozier is a 1980 graduate of St. Mark High School. Groups, choirs and individuals, please come out and show your love. St. Ann Summer Programs                                                                   
St. Ann  Outreach Center located at 908 Thorne Avenue is offering the following summer programs and assistance.
Blessed Angela Meal Days:  On the last Tuesday of June, July and every month, there is a cooked lunch for all from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  These meals are prepared by area churches. During the meal, free legal aid is also provided with a certified provider.  Please invite your friends.  Everyone is welcomed.
Takeout Bag Lunches:  On the last Wednesday of July and August from 11 a.m. to noon, you can pick up a free bag lunch with a sandwich and drink to take home and enjoy.  You must come in person to receive the bag lunch.  This is provided by a First Steps grant for healthy nutrition.
Eye Care, Dental Care, Prescriptions Assistance: Summertime is the best time to take children to their doctors for their needs. St. Ann Center is able to assist with some medical assistance only on the following days:  Monday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to noon only. Adults may also apply especially the elderly. For more information, call the Sisters at 354-9415.
Summer Programs:  Monday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 30 we will have Bible Camp Fun Days for school age children from 5 to 8 years old from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Our friends from the Kingstree Presbyterian Church and four Felician Sisters will provide music and art and stories that will bring us all to know Jesus better.
Call to register.  Children that attend will also receive some school supplies.
Healthy Cooking Classes:  Monday, July 28, Tuesday, July 29 and Wednesday, July 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., we will have Healthy Cooking Classes for children from ages 9 to 12 years old.  The kids will prepare a meal, eat the meal and take home a bag of groceries to make the same meal at home.

Back to School Sale:  Mark your calendars for Friday, August 1 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the “Big”sale.  New school supplies, new clothing, backpacks, and more will be available at very low prices.  Invite your friends to take advantage of these bargains.

Blessed Angela Meal
On May 27, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorns Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.
