WHS girls win over Andrews

Waccamaw's Lady Warriors won a close contest against the Andrews Lady Yellow Jackets.
Final score in the Tuesday match-up at Pawleys Island was Waccamaw 50, Andrews 44.
Coach Jessica Pressley said Yazzi Bennani scored 9 points, including a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter. Others included: Amber Williams 10; Jess Maybank 2; Rachel McClellan 5; Laquana Green 2; Venetia Grant 2; Ashley Czechner 4; Julia Bradshaw 8; Kayla Gulley 6; and Shelly Strickland 2.
For Andrews, top scorers were: Lateisha Langley 16; Tyshera Middleton 10; and Kharimah Buffkin 8.
