Georgetown High School's Bulldogs golf and tennis players have started out their seasons.
Boys' golf coach Adam George has 12 golfers this year, the largest team in several years.
There is one senior on the team, Wacey Chong.
They have been working hard to get ready for the season. Their opening match was at home on Tuesday at Wedgefield against St. James.
Today they have their first road match against Johnsonville.
Coach Grace George said her boys' tennis team opens its season at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Wedgefield tennis courts, playing against Marion.
Sam Kelly is the only senior. Juniors are Bill Stalvey, Tyler Dillinger, Nathan Howell, Nick Bethea and Ireland Morris.
Others include freshman Harrison McConnel and 8th graders Jarrett Cooper and Ben Wilkins and 7th grader David Stalvey.
