Take a look at the stats for Angelo Brown in Saturday's basketball match and you'll see that he had a game-high 33 points.
Hemingway won the Lower State Championship 93-68 over Carvers Bay. The contest was held at The Citadel in Charleston.
While Brown was the only Carvers Bay Bear to score in double digits, as a team the guys from northwestern Georgetown County ran up 68 points.
That's not bad, but when you see the stats for Hemingway and their 93 points, you realize the Bears didn't do so well by comparison.
The Mighty Tigers of Hemingway got the lead early on and kept it throughout the game.

Other scorers for Carvers Bay were Tyrone Brown 9; Thomas Smalls 2; Da'Shaun Aiken 4; Tevin Richard 5; Rayshod Pittman 4; Shamarr Hilton 2; Carlton Geathers 6; and Teondre Bromell 3.
For Hemingway, a nearby community that's in Williamsburg County, top scorer was Jazjuan Wilson with 19 points.
Other scorers were Suntrell Flagler 14; Jabril Solomon 4; Shaquille Wells 5; Donovan Bell 6; Quintin Brown 18; Rashawn Smalls 9; Jalil Brown 12; De'Andre Williams 2; and Justin Pressley 4.
Hemingway will play in the state championship for Class A ball at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 6. The game will be at the Colonial Center in Columbia. They will face the winner of the Upper State, either Williston-Elko or Great Falls.
