A man working on the renovations taking place at Georgetown’s Wal Mart store was killed early Tuesday morning.
Georgetown Police Capt. Nelson Brown said the man was electrocuted while feeding wire through the ceiling when the accident occurred.
Coroner Kenny Johnson said is 24-year-old Terry Lee Vestal of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. He said Vestal’s head touched three 60 amp fuses while trying to install wire for a sensor in the new pharmacy.
Vestal died on the scene, Johnson said.

Hi. My name is breanna and I appreciate all the apologies. I am the mans second cousin. He was like my second dad. He was always there for me and always brought me up when I was down. He helped me learn how to read and tie my shoe. He had a 5 year old daughter when he died. I do believe that she is now 6 Almost 7 and she has to go through her life without her father. He didn't have to work that day but someone got sick, so the good man that he was, decided to go ffor that man. He was just there at the wrong place wrong time. We miss and love you very much Tinker!!!!! We all hope to see you soon!

The accident is unfortunate, but a person here makes a big accusation. Who did Wal Mart hire locally to help with the renovations? What did you witness them stealing? I find it very sad that a person would come here and put down local contractors and accuse them as criminals on a thread like this.

I am very sorry to hear about this man death. Walmart did hire local people and from what I witness all they did was steal.

sorry about the man's death but my question is why are they not using local people instead of importing people. we have plenty of local contractors that can do the work and need they income. just another reason in my book to dislike walmart.
