Waccamaw Middle School won the 2013 Junior Academic Bowl February 26 at the J.B. Beck Administration and Education Center. Waccamaw finished the double-elmination tournament undefeated, beating Georgetown Middle 18-10 in the finals. All-Star Team members, with correct answers provided, are: Patrick Smith, GMS, 22; Patrick Sullivan, WMS, 11; Chris Attias, WMS, 10; John B. Glisson, RMS, 9; and Nancy Gonzales, GMS, 8. Students with seven correct answers each were: Jonah Crosby, WMS; Matthew Owens, GMS; and Matt Maixner, WMS. Congratulations!
