The following reports were collected from local law enforcement offices
Unruly diner
Workers at the Waffle House in Pawleys Island called deputies at about 3 a.m. Monday because of a man who was causing problems who refused to leave.
The 36-year-old Georgetown man was allegedly harassing the waitresses. He told deputies he was upset because he had waited over an hour to be waited on.
The workers said the man had not been in the restaurant for an hour.
The deputy informed the man if the workers did not want him to be there he would have to leave.
He refused to comply and began to get loud, so he was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Father biter
A 22-year-old Georgetown man told deputies his father bit him on the left hand as the two were arguing early Monday.
The man’s 52-year-old father was allegedly intoxicated and the two had been arguing for a couple of days.
The man was taken to jail for assault and battery.
Suspect with a gun
A man said he was standing outside Club Isis Oct. 26 when a car suddenly stopped in front of him.
He said a man he knows jumped out and started arguing with him because he had called the police on him about a year ago.
The argument heated and the 30-year-old alleged suspect reportedly pulled out a gun and threatened to kill the 44-year-old victim.
Some others helped wrestle the gun away from the suspect who then left but said he would be back.
When deputies arrived, they took possession of the gun. Their search for the suspect was unsuccessful.
