A 14-year-old Georgetown County girl says she has been sexually assaulted by her 51-year-old stepfather for the past six years.
The allegations came to light when the girl — with her mother’s permission — spoke to her pastor and another church leader about the incidents.
The teen said the incidents took place while her mother was at work.
The Sheriff’s office sex crime investigator has taken over the case.
Nude photos
on Facebook
A woman from Rutters Trail in Pawleys Island said she was scrolling through her 12-year-old daughter’s Facebook page Nov. 7 when she saw photos of male genitals that had been sent to her account.
The sender of the photos also reportedly said he had raped three girls and told the 12-year-old he was going to rape her.
The pictures were sent on Sept. 28 and the girl had continued to have Facebook conversation with him until at least Oct. 4.
The girl’s mother said she believes the sender is a 15-year-old from West Virginia. He is a friend of the girl’s cousin.
The deputy notes the girl had a fake date-of-birth on her account so it indicates she is 37-years-old.
The case was turned over to investigations.
AHS student accused of classroom ruckus
A 14-year-old Andrews High student was suspended and recommended for expulsion because of an incident Nov. 7 when he reportedly overturned a desk in which another student was sitting.
After turning over the desk, the teen allegedly began to curse as he exited the classroom.
The teen denied overturning the desk.
He said when the other student went to sit down, the desk turned over.
He said it was the other student that started yelling and cursing at him.
Fake Clemson tickets
A man from High Ridge Loop in Pawleys Island said he paid $450 for four Clemson football tickets he found on Craigslist.
He said the seller was reportedly from Aiken and sent him the electronic tickets via email.
When the victim called the Clemson office to complete the transaction by providing them the bar codes, he was told they have no records of those tickets in their files.
The victim called the seller and demanded a refund because the tickets were fake.
The seller contends he had no idea the tickets were fake.
He said he purchased them through a business “similar to stubhub.com.
When the victim later tried to call the man again, the number had been disconnected.
Stolen computers from Elections Office
Two laptop computers were reported stolen from he Georgetown County Board of Elections office.
The director says the laptops were taken sometime during between early October and Nov. 7.
Victim of housekeeper
A 51-year-old Myrtle Beach woman is accused of stealing from an 89-year-old Baskerville Drive woman.
The accused is a part-time housekeeper for the victim.
She allegedly used the woman’s Visa card to pay her own bills at Time Warner Cable and Horry Electric.
There was also a charge made at WalMart in Garden City.
The investigation continues.
