Emma Dease

Emma Dease, 86, of Georgetown, SC, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Tidelands Community Hospice in Georgetown, South Carolina.

Funeral services for Ms. Dease will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009 at Bethel AME Church, Plantersville Community, Georgetown.

Ms. Dease was born February 23, 1923 in Georgetown, SC to William Dease and Mrs. Katie Funnye Dease.

She attended Georgetown County public schools and was a retired housekeeper.

Ms. Dease was a member of Bethel AME Church and was a member of the Usher Board.

She is survived by her children, Vera Livingston and Vance Dease of Georgetown, SC, Janie Dennison of New Haven, CT and Paul Dennison of Conway, SC; her sister, Beatrice Lance of Georgetown, SC; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Wilds Courtyard Chapel.

Funeral service arrangements are entrusted and directed by Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.

Mary Kelley

Mary A. "Angie" Kelley, 57, of Georgetown died Friday, October 30 2009 at Tidelands Hospice House.

Graveside funeral services, directed by Graham Funeral Home will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Officiating will be Rev. Clyde Glover.

She was born July 20, 1952 in Georgetown, a daughter of the late Julius Sylvester Springs and the late Rena Burdell Morris Springs.

Mrs. Kelley was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.

She was a beacon of love to everyone she came into contact with.

She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends that knew her affectionately as "Mama Kelley". Her contagious laughter and loving heart will forever be remembered.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas P. Kelley Jr.; three daughters, Jolene (Keith) Jones of Wasilla, Alaska, Sunniva (Clint) Angerer of Lubbock, Texas, and Trena P. (Kris) Sheets of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Tianna, Kelsi, and Ashten Jones, Caroline and Jacob Sheets, and William Angerer; one sister, Burdell Hanna of Ashville, North Carolina; and two brothers, Jimmy Springs and Jerry Springs, both of Georgetown.

She was predeceased by her mother, father, and her maternal grandmother, Bertie Morris.
