Odessa Frasier

Linen-Knox Funeral Home announces the Funeral Service for Mrs. Odessa Frasier, age 60, of Georgetown, S.C.
Mrs. Frasier died on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Dickerson AME Church in Georgetown.
Rev. Patrick Staggers and Rev. Ernest Frasier officiated.
Burial followed in the First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was from noon until the hour of service at the church and from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Linen-Knox Funeral Home.
Mrs. Frasier is survived by her special friend, Lifonia Greene of Georgetown; one daughter, Wanda Grove of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one son, Rev. Centenio Fraiser of Charlotte, N.C.; and three brothers, Rev. Ernest Frasier of Columbia, S.C., Deacon Curtis Fraiser of Atlanta, Ga., and Mr. Bobby Frasier of Georgetown, S.C.
Arrangements were entrusted to Linen-Knox Funeral Home.

Enica Lewis

Ms. Enica Elisha Lewis, 26, of  102 Elm Hall Circle, Summerville, SC.  Ms. Lewis went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C.
Services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Sampit Elementary School in the Woodland Community of Georgetown, S.C. with Brother Darious Green, officiating. 
Burial follows in Kingdom Hall Cemetery, Andrews, S.C. under the direction of McKnight-Fraser Funeral Homes.

Ms. Lewis, daughter of Elijah and Miriam Lewis, was born August 6, 1985, in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She graduated from Hemingway High School Class of 2003 and graduated from Francis Marion University May of 2009
Those left to cherish his memories are her parents, Elijah and Miriam Lewis of Nesmith, S.C.; her sister, Samtera Rachel Lewis; her nephew, Micah J, Lewis, Summerville, S.C.; and her grandmother, Edefell Lewis Young.

Gene Marsh    

 Gene Travis Marsh, 62, Powell, Tenn. passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in the North Knoxville Medical Center after a  courageous three year battle with cancer.  
He was a native of Georgetown, S.C. and a son of the late Edward and Charlotte Hazeldon Marsh.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Karla Grindstaff Marsh; three children, Charlotte, Rhonda and Shane of South Carolina; two brothers, Charles and Donald Marsh; four  sisters, Dorothy, Billie Ann, Lee and Patsy of South Carolina; his in-laws, David and Polly Grindstaff, Elizabethton; one brother-in-law, David (Judy) Grindstaff; one sister-in-law, Kathy Grindstaff, Elizabethton, Tenn.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a very special brother-in-law, James Bracy; and his faithful companions, Gunner & Kiki.
He was an engineer for Bechtal Corporation for 20 years, having retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory Y-12 in 2009 due to illness.
The family would like to express a special “Thanks” to Ross Kerns and staff at East Tennessee Cancer Specialist, Dr. John Morrison, Dr. Rhonda Sivley, Dr.  David Brunson and staff at Stat Care Pulmonary, Dr. Joseph Minardo & Staff at East Tennessee Heart Consultants, Dr. Mark Pritcher & Staff, Third Floor nurses and CNA’S  at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. Thanks to you, Gene was given a little more time.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2012, in the Grindstaff family cemetery, 192 C. Grindstaff Road, Elizabethton with Pastor Tommy Bellamy officiating.  
Music will be provided by Carl Lee Hazelwood and Christy Whitson.     
Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Saturday will be: Elic Grindstaff, Eddie Bracy, Brent Grindstaff, Dale Hicks, Kathy Kyte and Michael Smith.  
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jack Shook, Dean Hicks, and Larry Perry.  
The family will receive friends at the home of his in-laws, David and Polly Grindstaff, 192 C. Grindstaff Road, Elizabethton.
