Doris Bryant
Doris Bryant, 46, of Georgetown, S.C. died Monday, April 23, 2012 in Georgetown, S.C. from injuries sustained in an automobile/pedestrian accident.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Paul AME Church, Sampit Community, Georgetown, with burial following in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bryant was born July 30, 1965 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Randolph Frasier and Mrs. Carrie Smith Frasier.
She worked as a housekeeper.
She attended the public schools of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by her mother, Carrie Frasier of Georgetown; her children, Devaughn Frasier, Ryan Lawrence and Andre Bryant, all of Georgetown; her twin, Dorese Geathers of McClellanville, S.C.; and her other siblings, Erma Smith of Brooklyn, Sandra McBride and Henry Smith of Georgetown, and Susan Prior of Detroit, Mich.
Funeral services are entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
Rebra Jordan
Rebra Cherry Jordan of Moncks Corner, born August 14, 1942, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie Edward and Bessie Verron Cherry.
She was preceded by her family, Natalie, Carl, Rudolf, Irvin, Burness, Edith, Yvonne, and Joann Cherry.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the graveside in St. Peter Episcopal Church Cemetery, Georgetown.
Bro. Jack Todd will lead the services.
Artis Lewis
Mrs. Artis Jenerette Lewis, 96, of 100 Poston Street, Hemingway, S.C. went home to be with Lord on April 23, 2012 at Marion Regional Hospital, Marion, SC.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Jerusalem AME Church in Hemingway, with Rev. James Frost officating. Burial follows in the Church Cemetery under the direction of McKnight-Fraser Funeral Homes.
A wake and public viewing will be held Friday at the Church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Mrs. Lewis daughter of the late Edward and Nancy Jenerette was born October 1, 1916 in Hemingway.
She was educated in Georgetown County schools and was a member of Jerusalem AME Church where she served as a stewardess, missionary, senior choir member and pastor aid.
She was a member of 211 Big 4 Chapter OES Lodge and Home Charity Lodge of Hemingway.
Those left to cherish her memories are one son, Leroy Lewis of New Jersey; four daughters, Willie M. Dollard of Delaware, Jessie L. Brown, Gracie Moore and Juanita Wilson, all of South Carolina; 33 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great grandchildren.
