Might-be fathers
The Associated Press recently reported on the creation of a registry for men who suspect they might be fathers.
Such registries are usually created by states to catch fathers in the child support racket.
The politicians are after the millions of dollars which the federal government pays the states for collecting child support.
They are also making it easier to collect on the federal incentives for getting kids adopted.
Ten thousand dollars, flat fee, for each child. In effect, they're selling our children.
The fathers targeted by this law/registry are often not aware of the birth of a child, because the mother didn't know who the father was, or didn't want him in the child's life.
So what would make them sign up on the registry? The trick is, the unsuspecting father is REQUIRED to register, whether he suspects parentage or not.
Failing to register AUTOMATICALLY terminates his parental rights.
Given knowledge of a birth, most fathers would willingly take custody of the child.
This registry law denies them their inalienable right to be a father to their children.
It's political trickery, devised out of greed and political correctness. And it's a dirty deal for both fathers and children.
