Georgetown police investigate stabbing

A warrant has been issued for a 50 year old Georgetown man accused of stabbing a 28 year old man Friday night.
The alleged incident occurred in the 2100 block of Front Street.
The victim, who was at the emergency room when he talked to police, said he was sitting in his friends car when the suspect walked up and started attacking him through the window.
The victim said he heard some people yelling the suspect had a knife while others were trying to pull him away.
The younger man said he then noticed he had been stabbed on the leg.
He was released from the hospital after being treated.
No motive for the stabbing was listed on the report.
