GHS kicks off annual Lights of Love campaign

Georgetown Hospital System’s Auxiliary is pleased to offer the community the opportunity to participate in its annual holiday fundraiser, “The Lights of Love.”
The Lights of Love program was established several years ago by the Georgetown Hospital System’s Auxiliary to provide scholarships to students pursuing careers in the medical field.
Tax-deductible gifts, made through the Lights of Love campaign will be added to this scholarship fund and will help ensure educational opportunities for local health care students.
A minimum $5 donation will remember a friend or a loved one with a bright, shining light on our Lights of Love trees located on the grounds of Georgetown Memorial Hospital and Waccamaw Community Hospital.
These trees will be lit during a special ceremony in December and remain illuminated throughout the holiday season.
Each contribution will be recognized with a special card from the Auxiliary notifying the recipient or the family of your gift.
The names of those honored or remembered will be displayed in a Lights of Love book located in the lobbies of both hospitals during December and January.
The Lights of Love book will also be available for online viewing through the Georgetown Hospital System’s website, http://www.georgetownhospitalsystem.org/lightsoflove
For additional contribution forms or to receive further information, visit either hospital’s reception desk, or call 843-527-7107.
