Meet the CBHS principal finalists today

Both Carvers Bay High School and Carvers Bay Middle School will have new principals when classes resume in August.
The finalists for the two positions were announced Thursday by the district.
For Carvers Bay High, the finalists are:
Robert Craig Evans, Andrea W. Hicks and Richard R. Neal.
  Evans is assistant principal at Georgetown High School.
Hicks is assistant superintendent in Florence District 4.
Neal is assistant principal at Conway High School.
  A Principalship Forum will be held at Carvers Bay High School on Tuesday, June 9, at 5 p.m. The event is free and the public is invited to hear the candidates speak. Afterwards, those in attendance will be able to meet the candidates.
Current Principal Kelvin Wymbs announced last month he has accepted a job in Mississippi.
At Carvers Bay Middle School, the finalists are: Arthur Holmes, assistant principal at Cainhoy Elementary and Middle School in Huger, S.C.; Margie Myers, principal at Kingstree Junior High School; and Comeletia Pyatt, assistant principal at Carvers Bay Middle School.
  A Principalship Forum will held at Carvers Bay Middle School on Monday, June 8, at 5 p.m.
The event is free and the public is invited to hear the candidates speak. After all candidates address the audience, those in attendance will be able to meet each candidate.
The school board is expected to hire the new principals later this month.
