Murrells Inlet, S.C. — Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington plan to meet guests from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1, at their home, Atalaya, on the grounds of Huntington Beach State Park during the annual Atalaya Holiday Celebration.
Many of the rooms in the castle will be decorated by civic organizations and community groups, and visitors will have the chance to vote on their favorites for the People’s Choice Award.
Members of the Friends of Huntington Beach State Park also will choose their favorites for the Celebration Excellence Award.
Providing entertainment will be the Pawleys Island Concert Band, Cantorium, a women’s chorus, the Cornbread & Bisquits Band, the Serendipity Singers, folk singer Jill Trinka, and the Resurrection Ringers, the handbell choir from the Church of the Resurrection.
Chowder and an oyster roast will be provided by Murrells Inlet Seafood.
Visitors can purchase crafts, cookies and candy as they wander the decorated rooms.
Admission for those 6 and older is $2 per person, plus the park admission.
