Donald Milton Barnes
Donald Milton “Donnie” Barnes, 50, the beloved husband of Penny L. Richardson Barnes of Georgetown went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, March 12, 2010 at the Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Mr. Barnes was born a son of the late Calvin Louis Barnes and Jeanette Self Barnes on May 16, 1959 in Georgetown, SC.
He was a heat and air duct mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith.
Donnie and Penny were married January 18, 1986.
From their blessed union survives: two daughters, Rachel L. Barnes, and Lindsey J. Barnes; one granddaughter, Makayla A. Barnes. Also surviving are: two brothers, Terry L. Barnes and Christopher C. Barnes; and his parent-in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Richardson, Sr.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Georgetown Church of God with interment following in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday afternoon, March 14, 2010, at the Georgetown Chapel, (843) 546-0198.

Cecile Cusack
Cecile Virginia Suggs Cusack, 77, of Georgetown, the widow of Charles Edward Cusack, Sr. and a long time resident of the Andrews community, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, March 11, 2010 at the Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Mrs. Cusack was born a daughter of Cecil Suggs and Josephine Brown Suggs on May 13, 1932 in Jesup, GA.
She was retired employee of Oneita Industries.
Mrs. Cusack will be remembered for her caring and nurturing spirit for her family and friends.
She was the epitome of the southern mom.
Cecile and Charlie were married March 24, 1950.
From their blessed union survives: three children, Charles E. “Eddy” (Debbie) Cusack, Jr., Virginia A. (Ron) McElvaney, E. Elizabeth “Beth” (Monty) Piatt; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Also surviving are: one sister, Sarah Strickland; and her longtime neighbors and adopted family, Fred and Melbie Jones.
She was predeceased by her parents; one sister, Frances Fortgang; and one grandchild, Candice McCutcheon.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the St. Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Cusack family received family and friends at a reception in honor of Mrs. Cusack immediately after the service in the family life center.
Mrs. Cusack was layed to rest with a committal ceremony at 10 a.m, Sunday morning, March 14, 2010 in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
