FUNERAL SERVICE

Perry Boykin

Mr. Perry Edward Boykin, 56, of McClellanville, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 23, 2010.

Funeral services for Mr. Boykin will take place on Tuesday, July 27, 2010; 2:00 p.m. at Howard A.M.E. Church, 2024 Rutledge Road, McClellanville, SC.

Interment will follow at Hampton Community Cemetery, McClellanville, SC.

Mr. Boykin will repose at the church Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. This will be the final viewing of Mr. Boykin.

Although there will not be a formal visitation with the family this evening, friends are encouraged to call upon the family at 2018 Hill Road, McClellanville, SC.

Mr. Boykin was the husband of Mrs. Shelia Lee Boykin; the son of Mr. William Boykin and the late Mrs. Ada Boykin; the father of  Anthony (Rosetta) Bennett, Mr. Perry (Jamie) Boykin, Ms. Patricia Boykin, Mr. Termaine Gatlin, Ms. Nakenia Gatlin and Ms. Varetta Doiley; the special father of Miss Natiayah Lee, Little Miss Jada Taylor and Master Alton Deas; the brother of Mrs. Dorothy (Eddie) Black, Ms. Louise Jefferson, Mrs. Lisabell (Joseph) Wragg, Mr. Frankie Collins, Ms. Shirley Canteen, Ms. Sylvia Boykin, Ms. Francena Boykin and Mr. Hugh (Rosemary) Boykin; the son-in-law of Mr. Francis Lee and Mrs. Mary R. Lee; the brother-in-law of Mr. Daniel (Sylvia) Barnes, Mr. Charles Jones, Mrs. Gwendolyn (James) Beal, Mr. Stanley (Cathy) Lee and Mrs. Marjorie (Otis) Bazemore. He also had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
