Elizabeth Benton
Mrs. Elizabeth Benton, age 92, of Jackson, GA, formerly of the Georgetown, S.C. area, passed away, January 8, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Benton Jr.; and daughter, Mary Sue Dunn.
She is survived by her children, Willie (Barbie) Benton III of Jackson, Ga., T.M. Wood of Wallace, S.C., and Carolyn (Jim) Abner of Eubank, Ky.; a sister; Margaret Rader of Andrews, S.C.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown, S.C.

Mary Casey
Mary Cape Casey, 86, of Georgetown, S.C. passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Born on September 26, 1926, she was the daughter of Albert Cleveland Cape and Mae Bell McClain Cape.
Mrs. Casey attended First Baptist Church of Georgetown.
She was a retired cosmetologist and a Mary Kay consultant for many years.
She was predeceased by husbands, John Watkins Jr. and Earle Casey.
Survivors include one son, Carlton Lee Watkins Sr. of Thompson, Ga.; one daughter, Phyllis Watkins Douglas of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Carla Woodward (Tim) of N. Augusta, S.C., Bobby Watkins of Grovetown, Ga., C.W. Watkins (Nikki) of Thompson, Ga., Erin D. Wainwright (Richard) of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Casey Douglas of Georgetown; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Bell Dilworth of Greer, S.C., Jean Motes of N. Augusta, S.C.; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special family friend, Coy Watkins.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta, Ga.

Isabell McCants
Isabell Moree McCants, 81, of Andrews, S.C., a beloved mother and the widow of James L. McCants, went home to be with her Lord and join her waiting loved ones on Tuesday, January 9, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. McCants was born the daughter of John Sullivan Moree and Corrie Lee Flowers Moree on December 14, 1931.
She was a 1949 graduate of Williamsburg High School and was a member of the Spring Pond Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served in the Women’s Ministry.
She committed her life to acts of selfless giving for her family and her church family; and gave an unconditional love to earn her the distinguished title – Beloved Mother.
Isabell and James were married on September 17, 1950.
Their home was blessed with three sons, Tim (Lisa) McCants, Joey (Teresa) McCants, and Jamey (Diane) McCants; seven grandchildren, Shannon Elliott, Heath McCants, Lee McCants, Seth McCants, Tiffany McCants, Katelyn Blake, and Randy Mahan; and four great-grandchildren, Carli McCants, Abbie McCants, Jameson McCants, and Ashlyn McCants.
She also leaves behind three brothers, Donald B. (Martha) Moree, Gerald (Celeste) Moree, and Billy (Betty) Moree.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Burton Moree and Bob Moree; and two sisters, Eunice Cox and JoAnne Cox.
A Home Going Celebration will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013, at the Spring Pond Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Interment will be in the Oak Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, January 10, 2013, in the sanctuary of the Spring Pond PH church.

David McKenzie
David William McKenzie, 91, of Andrews, S.C., widower of Maude Moore McKenzie, went to be in glory on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mr. McKenzie was born in Andrews on April 4, 1921, a son of the late David McKenzie and Edith Bertha Swails McKenzie.
He grew up and lived in the Ten Acre Community of Andrews and was retired as both a farmer and an employee of the S.C. State Forestry Commission.
Mr. McKenzie was a member of The Christian Fortress, where he led the church congregational singing for many years.
He taught the Adult Sunday School Class at The Christian Fortress and at Andrews Church of God for over 60 years.
Surviving are two sons, Winston McKenzie (Eunice) and Elbert McKenzie (Patricia), both of Andrews; four grandchildren, Jeffrey McKenzie, Karen M. Toney, and Cindy M. Chavis, all of Andrews, and Scott McKenzie of Georgetown; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. McKenzie was predeceased by a son, D. Z. McKenzie; a granddaughter, Tina Bratcher; two brothers; and eight sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, January 12, 2013, at The Christian Fortress.
Officiating will be the Rev. Geraldine Bednigo and the Rev. Donald Duncan.
Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening, January 11, 2013, at The Christian Fortress.

Stephen Neese
Stephen White Neese, 45, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.
Born on February 24, 1967 in Greensboro, N.C., he was the son of the late William Theodore Neese and Patricia Ann Copeland Neese Brown.
Survivors include two brothers, William Theodore Neese Jr. and Eddie Neese, both of Ashboro, N.C.; two sisters, Teresa King of Charlotte, N.C., Jerrie Lynn Hewitt (Timothy) of Georgetown; nine nieces and nephews; and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Graham Funeral Home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
