FUNERAL SERVICES
Ezekiel Owens
Ezekiel David Owens, 57, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 peacefully at his home.
Mr. Owens was born in Hemingway, a son of the late Alford Odis and Mary Effie Nettles Owens.
He was employed by International Paper Company as a Mechanic where he was a 5 Star Employee, a member of Center Baptist Church, a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School and Horry Georgetown Technical College.
David was a dedicated daddy, brother, granddaddy, and uncle to his daughters, grandchildren, and his entire family who loved him very much.
Surviving are his children, Heather (Michael) Dennis and Kylie (Will) Tanner both of Hemingway; grandchildren, Michaela Hope Dennis, Meghan Heather Dennis, Hayden Myrtle Dennis, and Ezekiel Hollie Tanner all of Hemingway; sisters, Mary Ellen Lawrimore of Hemingway and Vivian McClain of Orangeburg; brothers, Jimmy Odis Owens, Merrill F. (Dean) Owens and Barry O. (Gay) Owens all of Hemingway; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Center Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
