FUNERAL SERVICES
Rebecca Burley
Mrs. Rebecca Franklin Burley, 87, of 681 Sutton Road in the Oatland Community of Georgetown, SC.
Mrs. Burley departed this life on August 19, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in the Browns Ferry Community, Georgetown, SC with Rev. Dr. Howard Davis, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery under the direction of McKnight-Fraser Funeral Homes.
Viewing/visitation will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Walter S. Fraser Memorial Chapel, Georgetown.
Mrs. Burley, the daughter of the late Matthew and Ellen Washington Franklin, Sr., was born April 12 , 1923.
She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher, she was also a member of Eastern Star Lily of the Valley #352.
Survivors are one daughter, Ruby Myers, McClellanville, SC; one sister, Fannie McCray, Bronx, NY; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren.
Olene Cooper
Olene “Mickey” Parsons Cooper, 85, of Conway, widow of William “Butch” Cooper died Wednesday August 18, 2010 at Conway Medical Center.
Born on January 14, 1925 in Williamsburg County she was a daughter of the late James Parsons and the late Nora Parsons.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, enjoyed cross-stitching and was an avid reader.
Survivors include four children, George E. Cooper (Gige) of Cary, NC, William “Will” A. Cooper, Jr., (Teresa Rose) of Healsburg, CA, Janie C. Ryan of Powell, TN, and Paul M. Cooper (Linda) Universal City, TX; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Theodore Martin of Conway.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Don Parsons; a son in law, John B. Ryan; and a grandson. Daniel Cooper.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday August 24, 2010 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleums with the Rev. Ron Ward officiating.

Norman Infinger Sr.
Norman Edward Infinger Sr., 73, husband of Jenny Mercer Infinger of Sumter, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at a local nursing facility.
Born in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Lucius Alsbury Infinger and the late Thelma Ard Infinger.
Mr. Infinger was retired from Georgetown Steel.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Norman Edward Infinger, Jr. (Cindy) of Asheboro, NC, Susan Infinger Noonan (Patrick) of Sumter, Paul Richard Infinger of Asheboro, NC, and Ellen Infinger Strickland (Billy M., Jr.) of Columbia; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lucius Anthony Infinger and Allen Roger Infinger, both of Georgetown; and a sister, Janice Infinger Rivenbark of Georgetown.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Chaplain Billy Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
