FUNERAL SERVICES
Ellen Johns
Ellen Mattie Therrell Johns, 55, of Andrews, the widow of Fred James Johns, Jr. and Carlisle Lambert, went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, August 9, 2010, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.
Mrs. Johns was born a daughter of Ira James Therrell, Sr. and Laura Godfrey Therrell on November 12, 1954 in Rock Hill.
She was a graduate of Indian Land High School in Fort Mill, SC. Mrs. Johns was the owner and operator of J & L Sewing Plants and a former supervisor at Kingstree Knits.
She attended the Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She leaves behind: two sons, Fred James “Jamey” (Tracy) Johns, III and Kelvin Ray Johns; two stepsons, Mark Anthony Lambert and Richard C. Lambert; and five grandchildren, Bryce, Mason, McKenzie, Eric, and Chase.
She was predeceased by her parents and husbands.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, August 12, 2010, at the Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment in the church cemetery, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.

Franklin Joye
Franklin Joye, 59, of Georgetown, SC died Thursday, August 4, 2010 in Georgetown, SC.
Funeral services for Mr. Joye will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Mt. Zion AME Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Joye was born December 15, 1950 in Georgetown, South Carolina to Samuel Joye and Susan Swinton Joye.
He attended Georgetown County Schools and graduated from Howard High School in 1969.
He was a member Love Chapel Deliverance Center. He was a retired Lab Technician with BP Chemical Co. in Huger, SC.
Mr. Joye is survived by his wife, Margaret Joye of Georgetown, SC; his children, Frank Joye and Keisha Joye of Georgetown, SC; his siblings, Mack Joye & Henry Lee Kinloch of Georgetown, SC; his sisters, Mary Lee Johnson of Rome, NY, Irene Beckman of Conway, SC, Rebecca Brown of Jamaica, NY, Celestine Love of Philadelphia, PA and Alice Richardson of Williams Port, Pa.; and one granddaughter, Jakima Joye of Georgetown, SC.
Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Wilds Courtyard Chapel.
Funeral service arrangements are entrusted and directed by Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.

Frank W. Musselman, 90, of Pawleys Island passed away Monday, August 9, 2010, in the comfort of his home.
A brief memorial service will take place at the South End of Pawleys Island on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.
