The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office says a man wanted for trying to kill a woman Friday morning is now in custody.
On Friday afternoon, a press release was issued asking for help from the public in locating 59 year old Hubert Bone Jr.
This morning, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson says Bone has been taken into custody without incident. No other details about his arrest have been released.
Bone is charged two counts attempted murder, according to Cuthbertson.
The Kent Road resident is accused of stabbing a woman in the head Friday.
“The victim was transported to the Georgetown Memorial Hospital and is being treated for her injuries,” Cuthbertson said.
The woman’s name and condition has not been released. It is unknown how Bone and the woman know each other.
Cuthbertson said the reason Bone is charged with two counts is because he attacked the same woman twice.
