Barry McCall files for County Council seat and will run as a Republican

Waccamaw Neck resident Barry McCall has filed as a candidate for Georgetown County Council as a Republican.
McCall was a former magistrate in Pawleys Island.
McCall was previously undecided on whether he would file as a Democrat or a Republican.
Filing for the County Council seats, and others in the General Assembly, opened on Tuesday.
S.C. House Seat 108 member Vida Miller and House 103 seat holder Carl Anderson both filed for reelection. Both are Democrats
Pawleys Island resident Kevin Ryan, 21, filed to run for House Seat 108, said Republican Party Chairman Tom Swatzel.
Solicitor Greg Hembree has filed on the Republican ticket to seek reelection as the solicitor for Georgetown and Horry Counties.
