Investigators in Jacksonville, Fla. believe someone in the Georgetown area has information about a double murder that took place in that city in late June.

A “significant reward” is being offered for anyone with information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible.

According to Jacksonville police, step brothers — Eric Stubbs, 36, and 33-year-old John Franklin Ragin Jr. — were shot several times at Ragin's home in Jacksonville on June 29.

Police say the investigation has not caused them to believe it was a murder-suicide.

There was no indication of forced entry into the home.

The shootings took place inside a home Ragin shared with a roommate in the Ortega Bluff neighborhood

Authorities feel there may be a connection to people who are in the Georgetown area.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (904) 630-0500 or call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
