A Georgetown man arrested earlier this month for allegedly selling items he stole during a burglary in Browns Ferry has been hit with additional charges.

The Pawleys Island Police Department reports Charles Aaron Cribb, Jr., 36, has been charged in connection with five burglaries that occurred on the Island on Jan. 30.

Police say they began to investigate Cribb because his mother’s car was seen in the area the day of the burglaries.

He was served with warrants charging him with the five burglaries while he was in jail for the Jan. 18 Browns Ferry incident.

In that case, a tipster informed the Sheriff’s Office Cribb tried to sell some of the stolen items.
