I want to thank all of the people that voted for me.   The reason for running was to bring about positive changes for the citizens.

Even though I did not win, does not mean I am going to stop working. I will be attending council meetings and providing input concerning the issues I proposed in my campaign.

Reducing the budget is the first thing council needs to address.

I have an emergency traffic plan, I want implemented, along with ideas to create jobs.

Several of my supporters and I are forming a bipartisan group to monitor city council and send out periodic updates.

The future of the City of Georgetown is our responsibility and all citizens need to be informed and part of the solution.

If you are interested in joining us, please contact me at moodysblues@yahoo.com.

I plan to run again in 2 years.   In the meantime, there is a lot  of work to be done. Thank you for your support

Jim Moody
