The following reports were collected  from local law enforcement offices:

A Conway woman was arrested after she allegedly kicked her two young children out of their car in the pouring rain because they ate a biscuit.

An off duty deputy was at Prosser’s Restaurant in on Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet Saturday morning when he saw the woman stop her car.

He then saw her drag her two children — ages 4 and 8 — from the car by their arms. She then got back in the car and drove away “leaving the children screaming and running after her as she drove away in the steady rain,” the report states.

The woman drove around the block and then stopped and told her crying children to get back in the car.

The deputy made a traffic stop on the vehicle to make sure everyone was OK.

The woman started crying and said she was having a bad day.

When the deputy asked her what was wrong, she said in an angry manner “these children. They ate my husband’s Bo berry biscuit,” the report states

The woman continued by telling the deputy “I don’t feel it’s any of your concern what I do with my children,” the officer noted.

The woman was taken to jail, charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.

The children were released to a guardian and DSS was notified about the incident.

Stabbing investigated

A warrant has been issued for a 50 year old Georgetown man accused of stabbing a 28 year old man Friday night.

The alleged incident occurred in the 2100 block of Front Street.

The victim, who was at the emergency room when he talked to police, said he was sitting in his friends car when the suspect walked up and started attacking him through the window.

The victim said he heard some people yelling the suspect had a knife while others were trying to pull him away.

The younger man said he then noticed he had been stabbed on the leg.

He was released from the hospital after being treated.

No motive for the stabbing was listed on the report.

Strong armed robbery

A 32-year-old man admits he was drunk when he was reportedly assaulted and robbed Oct. 25.

The man told police he was highly intoxicated as he was walking on Highmarket Street at about 11 p.m. when two men in a car pulled over and asked if he needed a ride.

He said he got in the car but has no recollection of what happened after that. He said he woke up in a ditch near International Paper and noticed his wallet was gone.

The man said he had two cuts on his leg and several cuts on his arm as well as a black eye so he went to the emergency room.

The victim said he works with the girlfriend of one of the alleged suspects. He said while he was at work, he overheard her telling someone her boyfriend had taken his wallet because he thought the victim was dead.

The man said he does not remember getting assaulted. He said there was $20 in his wallet.

Church vandalism

Police were called to Messiah Baptist Church on Old Charleston Road Oct. 25 because of some graffiti on the railing in the front of the building.

Police saw where someone had used a pencil to write “I smk weed” and “PE waz”. There was also a six pointed star on some steps.

“The employee believes  the subject was trying to draw a pentagram but actually made the Star of David,” the report states.

No one has been charged.

Knife at GMS

Georgetown Middle School officials  were told by two students one of their classmates had a knife in her possession Oct. 26.

The female student reportedly gave the knife to someone else on campus.

When confronted, the girl admitted having the knife. She said she had it in her possession over the weekend and forgot to remove it before going to school.

She was charged with having a weapon on campus and was released to her father.

Concerned brother

A McClellanville man met with Georgetown police Oct. 23 because of his concern about his 63-year-old brother who lives on Merriman Road.

He said his brother is ill and unable to take care of himself and is not being cared for by his wife.

The man said his sister-in-law “would rather ride around drinking while (his brother) is” helpless in bed.

The victim was taken to the hospital and police were told there were signs that he has been neglected. One of his eyes was swollen shut and he had bed sores, the report states.

A nurse said he has been laying in his own body waste “for probably a few days.”

Police are still trying to determine if charges will be filed against the man’s wife.
