Three Georgetown County men are being sought by authorities in Florida for their alleged connection with a motorcycle theft ring.

The Jacksonville Daily News reported this week the Jacksonville Police Department has warrants for Amon Knowlin, 24, of 249 Columbus Road; Tremaine Grant, 28, of 87 Royal Pines Drive; and Kevin Duncan, 31, of 12 Apricot Lane.

Also being sought is Cedric McKenith, 23, of 102 Joe Powell Lane in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Police Department told the newspaper the four men were in the Puller Place apartment complex in the Carolina Forest area May 20 when an officer pulled into the parking lot of the complex. The men allegedly dumped two motorcycles in the roadway, abandoned the U-Haul they were driving and fled the area.

The motorcycles were reported as stolen from the Liberty Crossing apartment complex in Jacksonville.

Police were able to provide vehicle registrations for several suspicious vehicles in the area, which lead to the four suspects, according to a press release from JPD.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or suspects is asked to call the Jacksonville/Onslow Crime Stoppers at 910-938-3273 or Detective David Miltier at 910-455-4000.

Crime Stoppers of Jacksonville/Onslow County offers rewards of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest.
