A 44 year old woman who is being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center called for a deputy July 1.
When he arrived she told him she thinks someone is going to steal money from her personal checking account.
The deputy asked if any money had been stolen and she said “I don’t know,” the report states.
The woman was told she could not file a criminal report unless a crime actually takes place.
The officer agreed to write an “information only” report about her concerns.
Woman mad when stomach not pumped
Workers at Waccamaw Community Hospital and County deputies had their hands full with a 58 year old woman who wanted an unusual medical procedure July 2.
The Georgetown woman reportedly stopped by the hospital saying she had eaten too much food and wanted doctors to pump out her stomach.
When the woman was told “no” she allegedly became “very verbal” and started cursing at the nurses, the report states.
When a deputy arrived on the scene and asked the woman what was wrong, she started cursing at him.
Since she was not being treated for anything, the deputy asked the woman to get off the bed but she refused.
She then tried to bite the officer, so she was placed in handcuffs and was escorted to the patrol car.
She started spitting on the deputy and a security guard as she was walking.
Once at the jail, she had to be placed in a rubber room because she was being abusive towards the staff.
She was charged with breach of peace.
Assaulted at church
A 22 year old Florida woman who said she was in the area on a missions trip in mid-June called the Sheriff’s Office Tuesday and said she was assaulted while attending a church service in Pawleys Island.
The woman said she is unsure the name of the church.
She said she was standing in the back of the church during “praise and worship” when a 5 year old boy she was supervising started tickling her on her side in an innocent manner.
The woman said she started paying attention to the service once again when the child walked over and got two 12 year old boys.
They then stood by the woman and began touching her in a “harsh manner” under her arms and then on her chest.
The woman said she informed the youth pastor about what happened.
Drunk and hungry
Deputies were called to a home in the 700 block of Country Club Drive in Pawleys Island at about 3:30 a.m. Monday because of an intoxicated woman walking around in the homeowners garage.
The complainant said he has no idea who the woman is but she was banging on his front door.
When the officers found the woman in the man’s garage, she was holding a sweet potato and said “I am hungry” with slurred speech.
She was asked repeatedly where she lived and would only say “what does it matter?”
The 37 year old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Misuse of 911
A 53 year old Murrells Inlet woman called deputies who met her at a bar on Highway 17 Business at about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The woman said while she was inside, one of the bartenders asked her if he could be her pool boy.
The woman said she was offended by the question.
A staff member told the officer the woman was asked to leave after she got loud and was disturbing other customers.
She was escorted to her car by the deputy who thought the case was over.
However, the woman then started calling 911 over and over using “obscene and vulgar language,” the report states.
The woman called Central Dispatch about 30 times.
She was arrested at her house for misuse of 911.
Damaged mailboxes
While on patrol in Litchfield Country Club Tuesday morning, a deputy saw several mailboxes that had been damaged.
Based on some tracks found by the deputy, it appears someone ran into the mailboxes with a golf cart.
Later, the officer received a call about stolen golf carts from the Lakes at Litchfield.
The carts were found but the keys were missing.
The preceding reports, compiled by Scott Harper, were collected from local law enforcement offices.
