Deputies were sent to River Birch Road in Pawleys Island June 30 because of a group of juveniles who were throwing wet newspapers at a home.

The homeowner said the teens rang his doorbell and ran. They then threw the wet papers at his house.

When he yelled at them, they fled into the woods but the harassment did not stop.

The man said they then started shining green laser pointers into his windows.

This scared the man’s 8 year old daughter.

The teens could not be found when officers arrived.

Stolen decorations

The owner of the Beaver Bar in Murrells Inlet said someone stole eight neon advertisement signs and 14 crab pots from the business.

The owner said all of the items had been installed on the exterior of the buildings as decorations.

Stolen bicycle

A red and black bicycle belonging to a 7 year old Andrews boy was stolen from the family’s East Cherry Street home.

The child’s mother said the bike was taken from their front porch June 30.

She said this is the fourth bicycle that has been taken from their house.
