A Monroe, N.C. woman met with a local deputy last month to report her husband was now married to another woman.
She said she and her husband had lived in North Carolina since they got married in 1988.
In April, 2010, he left with their children and they had very little contact except for a few emails. She said he refused to return home or tell her where he was living.
In Sept. 2011, the woman — after a long search — found out he was living in Lancaster, S.C. She also discovered he and another woman got married in a ceremony that took place in Litchfield.
She said she has a copy of her husband’s new marriage certificate.
The case is still being investigated.
