The following reports were collected from local law enforcement offices:
A 33-year-old Georgetown woman says she may have been sexually assaulted Dec. 13.
The woman said she was at her boyfriend’s office Christmas party in Murrells Inlet where she consumed six or seven beers as well as three drinks called “red headed sluts.”
Because of her intoxication, her boyfriend said he would drive her home but he was also drunk, so she said “no.”
Her boyfriend called his mother to pick him up and when she arrived, she got into an unrelated dispute with someone which turned physical. She was injured as a result.
The man and his mom left the party, leaving his girlfriend behind.
“At this point (the victim) has no recollection” of what happened, the report states.
The woman said when she woke up the next morning, she saw she had bruises on her chest, arms and thighs.
There was also evidence found in the bathroom indicating a sex act took place.
She called her boyfriend to ask who took her home and found out she was driven by a taxi.
The woman said she had a key t her house in her pocket which was no longer there.
Harassment from ex
An Andrews woman filed a report against her ex-husband who she said has calling her and using profanity over the phone.
She said she told him to stop calling her and has a restraining order in place.
The woman said the new girlfriend of her ex also called her and made a threat.
The victim was advised to speak to a magistrate.
Missing gas
A woman from Indian Hut Road reported hearing a noise outside her home early Dec. 15 but when she checked she did not see anything.
Later in the day she discovered she was missing about quarter-of-a-tank of gas from her vehicle. She also saw the gas cap was unscrewed.
Drug violations
Because there have been several breakins in the Kensington area recently, a deputy was patrolling that area at about 2 a.m. Thursday when he saw a pickup truck on Bragdon Ave.
He then saw there were three people in the back of the truck, even though temperatures were in the 30s.
He made a traffic stop and saw one of the three was a juvenile who has had dealings with law enforcement.
“As I walked up to the truck, I could smell marijuana,” the deputy wrote in his report.
All three denied possessing the drug.
The deputy said he could see a small marijuana joint in the pocket of a 15-year-old. Another joint fell on the ground from his pocket.
Both had been partially smoked.
The teen was released to a parent.
Stolen cell phone
A woman said her cell phone worth $400 was stolen while she was at Carvers Bay Convenience Store Dec. 15.
She said she asked a 15-year-old female if she knew anything about it and was told “no.”
The victim said the 15-year-old later called her residence and asked for the phone’s password. When asked why she wanted that information, the teen said “so I can help you track it down.”
That caused the victim to believe the teen had the phone the whole time.
When questioned by deputies, the teen admitted taking the phone from the store and said it was at her house.
The phone was recovered and returned to the victim and the teen was charged with petit larceny.
