Each person was in charge of giving an item (GMS bulldog wristbands, GMS bulldog Walk to School Day pencils, Walk to School Day pencils sent by the district office, a healthy granola bar and a sticker) to each walker. The adults enjoyed themselves, and students were very appreciative of the attention and the items they received.

Several pictures were taken of students who participated and stickers, and pencils, provided by the district, were handed out.

Then the students who wanted to eat breakfast went to the cafeteria. They wore blue shirts.

The walk took place around perimeter of school beginning at 9:15 a.m. The entire school participated.
