Edythe Myers
Edythe Lang Myers, 92, of Pawleys Island, S.C., widow of Jessie L. Myers Jr., died Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Mrs. Myers was the daughter of the late Carrie Austin Lang and Noah “Capt. Buck” Lang.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Waccamaw United Methodist Church and had served as a member of the altar guild and the United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Myers was a volunteer at Georgetown Memorial Hospital for the last five years and was a member of the hospital auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.
Officiating will be the Rev. C. Nels Ledwell and the Rev. Milton L. McGuirt.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday evening, November 18, 2012, at the funeral home.
